Membership

The membership year is January 1 to December 31.

Memberships that are paid between mid October and December 31 commence January 1 of the following year.

Memberships are purchased on an individual basis and are not transferable; there are no refunds.

Receipts are provided immediately for online payments; within 30 business days for cheques and Purchase Orders

Regular Member - $175.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Professionals regularly involved in cardiovascular disease prevention and rehabilitation who have voting privileges and can stand for office.

Student / Trainee Member - $75.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Students enrolled in post-secondary studies related to cardiovascular disease prevention and rehabilitation who are carrying at least one-half academic load, as defined by the academic institution, during at least one semester of the academic year or enrolled in postdoctoral fellowships at a registered institution. Proof of the aforementioned must be provided. Membership includes the CACPR Guidelines 3rd Ed (book version) ($16 + TAX for shipping). Student Members have voting privileges and may reside outside of Canada.

Retired Member - $75.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Past CACPR members who have retired and wish to support the activities of CACPR. They will receive all member benefits except voting privileges.

Associate / International Member - $175.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Active, retired and International professionals interested in cardiovascular disease prevention and rehabilitation and not currently eligible as a regular member. All Associate Members receive the same benefits as regular members; however they do not have voting privileges, nor eligible to hold office.

Institutional Membership - $140.00 (CAD) Bundle (up to 5 members) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments The Institutional Membership is small and large businesses / programs to provide membership bundling. To be eligible for an Institutional Membership, there must be a minimum of 5 members from the same facility. Receive 5 memberships for the price of 4!

Low Income Country Member - $75.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Active professionals regularly involved or interested in cardiovascular disease prevention and rehabilitation residing in a low-income country. *MUST provide proof of residency to be eligible for the low-income country rate. Please refer to the WHO Low-Income Countries List

About the Association

The Canadian Association of Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation (CACPR) is a national body comprised of interdisciplinary health professionals. Our focus is enhancing knowledge and clinical care, as well as enabling research for those who work in cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation.
