Transitions

It is with great pleasure that we are officially launching the 2021 CACPR Annual Spring Conference. This Spring, we look forward to the opportunities our fully virtual format will enable.

The CACPR Spring Conference has a well-established reputation of offering members exceptional learning opportunities in the field of cardiovascular rehabilitation and prevention. Physicians, allied health care professionals, carers, and students treating and caring for patients are all welcomed. Also, this conference might be of interest to professionals and students with an interest in chronic disease management.

This year’s theme is: TransitionsAs such, we are working on a excellent program that will bring together specialists in the field that will walk us all through the challenges and opportunities cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation are faced with in our current day and age.

We will be considering the transition from hospital to community for heart failure patients (including support for care-givers), transition from in-person to virtual services, as well as transitioning to new rehab modalities or program models to meet the needs of all cardiac rehab populations.

Abstract submissions are currently being accepted. Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.
