CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
The Call for Abstracts for the 10th Annual CACPR Spring Conference
is now open!
The deadline to submit is March 16, 2025, at 11:59 PM ET.
Abstract Submission Guidelines Presenting an abstract at the CACPR Annual Spring Conference is an excellent opportunity to share your research, best practices, and highlight your facility to colleagues and leaders in the field of Cardiac Rehabilitation. Abstracts are welcome on any topic pertinent to this year’s theme: “Embracing the Future of Cardiac Rehabilitation: From Science to Practice.” Accepted abstract titles, authors, and credentials are printed in the Journal of Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation and Prevention (JCRP) Conference Issue, and the CACPR produced Current Issues and Trends in Cardiovascular Disease Prevention and Rehabilitation (CV Edge) - Conference Highlights issue. Full abstracts will be included in the online version of the same issue. Posters are seen by a wide variety of cardiovascular professionals. Poster presenters for accepted abstracts are required to register for and attend the conference. |
Electronic Submission of Scientific Abstracts for Presentation at CACPR 2025 Spring Conference
A scientific abstract contains data from a study that has been completed. The study itself may represent a pilot study or may be the results of a large trial. Submitting the protocol for an on-going large trial is also acceptable. Descriptive or observational research abstracts may be submitted as long as there is a research question, the methods are described, and results are presented. Writing should be clear and concise, as space on the abstract is limited.
Criteria for Abstract Submissions
- Statement of rationale for the study.
- Statement of the objectives of the study.
- Statement of the methodology used.
- Statement of results. Data must be presented and statistical significance addressed.
- Statement of conclusion(s). The conclusion must be based on the results rather than a hopeful promise of additional data or discussion.
Indicate whether you would like the abstract to be considered for an oral presentation. Authors of the top-rated abstracts will be invited to provide a 10-minute talk about their study. All other abstracts will be invited to provide a poster presentation.
